ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The Workshop was established in 1980 running careers and 'A' level based courses for young people.
In that time we have helped guide over 180,000 young people in their choice of career. The world of employment has changed much in that time and will continue to evolve as new opportunities arise and traditional occupations change or disappear.
We aim to provide students with the most up to date information to assist them in making the decision that will affect the rest of their lives.
THE EVENTS
All our courses are held at respected Universities and involve the delegates staying in Halls of Residence for at least one night. This offers the delegates a chance to sample university life first hand and develop social skills through meeting and socialising with their peers.
When planning a programme we try to achieve a good balance of leading academics and practitioners in the relevant areas to ensure that both academic and professional perspectives are delivered.
The conferences not only motivate and inspire but also give students an edge in terms of unbiased advice on selecting the correct course and making successful applications.
Choosing a course involves the single most important 'life choice' many students will make. Enormous personal and financial commitments will be involved and it is essential that the right choice is made now. These courses offer a unique opportunity, providing the information and experience for students to decide their future with confidence.
